Dynamic loads caused by, e.g. vibrations and environmental impacts are major challenges in e-chain systems, among others in drilling rigs. The "heavy-duty" energy chains from igus® are exceptionally suitable for energy supply in such applications, which are very convincing under the extreme conditions compared to steel chains.

In order to safely guide cables in hanging applications, igus® has developed e-loop® modular energy chain system - ideally suited for 3-dimensional applications. The e-loop® combines the advantages of a plastic energy chain with those of a high-strength pull rope. Inside the chain, the rope transfers the pull force to the mounting brackets and the structure. The cables are thus kept completely relieved of strain. The modular e-chain® made of high-performance plastic always enforces a defined bend radius and easily copes with vibration and impacts. It is also a modular system that can be opened and closed as needed. All parts are individually replaceable. Easy maintenance.
