Guarantee on igus products for up to 4 years

The following guarantee conditions apply

1. The guarantee applies to the number of double strokes or service hours calculated by igus according to the online service life calculator, or for a maximum of 4 years after the date of handover, whichever occurs first, and when the guarantee certificate is presented:

• Energy chains
• chainflex cables
• drylin linear technology
• drylin drive technology
• dryspin lead screw technology
• iglidur plain bearings: iglidur expert system, sleeve bearings, iglidur plain bearing designer
• xiros ball bearings
• igubal spherical bearings
• iglidur gears
• iglidur PRTs
• iglidur CNC parts
• 3D-printed components

2. The guarantee applies to igus components that have failed due to wear.

3. igus agrees to supply replacement parts free of charge.

4. The guarantee does not apply to mechanical damage and damage caused by incorrect assembly.

5. The guarantee is not extended by a replacement delivery. The replacement delivery does not initiate a new guarantee period.

6. The guarantee begins with handover of the goods.

7. The guarantee does not apply in the event of external influences that damage the item or act on it in a way that is not intended.

8. There is no claim to reimbursement in money, but only to replacement of the damaged components.

9. igus GmbH has sole discretion to determine whether and to what extent a guarantee claim is valid.

10. Double stroke refers to a complete sequence of forward and return stroke of a linear movement.

11. The guarantee only applies if the products are stored properly in normal industrial environments before use.
