Robotic systems – 2017 silver manus®

gripper arm
“OCEAN INNOVATION SYSTEM” has developed a gripper arm that can dive and be applied under water to a depth of 500 metres. The system is equipped with more than 30 igus® flange bearings. The arm has a load-bearing capacity of 16 kg (dynamic) to 50 kg (static) in the extended state. The requirements to the parts from igus®: Applicable in fresh- and seawater, resilient up to 150 MPa, low weight, wide range of shapes, maintenance-free and cost-effective.
