Robots

This robot moves very smooth. A torso supports the movement via an active relative movement between pelvis and torso in six possible movements. The control electronic sytem is integrated in the shoulder area of the robot. To increase the electromagnetic compatibility and to minimize disturbances, the power electronics and the batteries were separatley integrated from the control electronics in the pelvis. An energy chain of the triflex® R type from igus® was used to guide and protect a number of cables between pelvis and torso. Apart from that it also looks like a real spine.
